70,000 Carl Froch Vs George Groves Tickets Sell Out In Under An Hour

TUESDAY 6TH MAY 2014; Froch vs Groves 2, proudly sponsored by Betway, is set to break all British boxing attendance and sales records with almost 80,000 tickets sold to date. The fight of the year is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 31st May.

The 80,000 strong crowd will witness this hugely anticipated rematch, to find out once and for all who is the finer fighter. This epic fight will see Froch, the defending WBA and IBF super-middleweight champion, put his titles on the line to settle a heated rivalry with Groves after their first encounter ended under such controversial circumstances.  The first encounter was won by Carl Froch after George Groves was deemed unfit to continue – a fact that Groves and his team fiercely contested.  This rematch will settle one of the boxing world’s greatest rivalries once and for all.

Some of the biggest names in British sport from past and present are also expected to witness this dramatic battle at Wembley, which has captured the interest of sports fans across the globe.

Carl “The Cobra” Froch has been the WBA unified champion since beating Mikkel Kessler in May 2013 and Betway currently has the super-middleweight champion odds on to win the bout but with “Saint” George Groves out for revenge anything could happen.

Although Froch is currently edging the betting as favourite to win, Groves will be out to upset the odds, setting the stage for a dramatic title fight that could go either way.

As proud title sponsors of the event, Betway are offering an exclusive range of exciting betting markets, including weigh-in and fight night specials, available on-site now.
